Financial Reporting Manager (Upstream Oil & Gas):

What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate the preparation and review of quarterly financial statements, ensuring completeness, consistency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify variances, address reconciling items, and deliver meaningful insights that guide internal decision-making.
- Oversee periodic calculations for distributions, contributing to cash flow planning and limited forecasting efforts.
- Engage with external auditors, responding to inquiries and providing documentation to facilitate timely and effective examinations.
- Assist with owner-related financial matters, collaborating with both internal and external partners to maintain accurate records and resolve any accounting issues.
- Contribute to special initiatives or ad hoc projects, adapting to evolving priorities and playing a key role in maintaining a high-quality financial reporting environment.
Who You Are:
- A licensed CPA (or currently passing exams) with at least 4-7 years of relevant experience, ideally including time in public accounting.
- Well-versed in upstream oil and gas accounting principles, bringing direct industry knowledge to strengthen reporting accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a structured, primarily onsite setting, with a willingness to adapt to schedule requirements and occasional additional hours when necessary.
- Skilled in using standard accounting tools and proficient in spreadsheet capabilities to streamline and simplify reporting processes.
- A professional who approaches responsibilities with diligence, communicates clearly, and thrives in a close-knit team environment.

What Does This Position Pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors, which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected salary range for this role is $120,000 – $140,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus of 10–18%. Actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
