Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in laboratory animal science or in vivo research, including 3+ years in a vivarium leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Animal Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of rodent models, in vivo techniques, and regulatory compliance (USDA, OLAW, AAALAC, IACUC)
  • Proven people leader with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee daily vivarium operations, including animal care, facility maintenance, vendors, and SOPs
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, lead inspections and audits, and maintain accurate animal research documentation
  • Partner with research teams to plan and execute in vivo studies, managing logistics and troubleshooting issues
  • Hire, train, and lead vivarium and in vivo staff while promoting a culture of safety, ethics, and collaboration

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $110,000–$160,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
