Information Systems Business Analyst 2 – San Diego – Hybrid
 
Are you a systems-savvy analyst with a passion for optimizing internal tools and workflows? A fast-paced technology-driven renewable energy organization, is seeking a skilled Information Systems Business Analyst to lead administration and integration efforts across Atlassian, Alteryx, Power BI, and more. This is a contract-to-hire role offering hands-on impact and long-term growth potential.
 
Who you are:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in system administration, configuration, and integration using tools like Atlassian, Alteryx, and Power BI
• Strong proficiency in SQL, scripting (e.g., Python), and automation tools such as Alteryx or Power Automate, and performance tuning
• Strong understanding of user access management, role-based permissions, and application security.
• Ideally you have a Bachelor's Degree and certifications in Jira Administration, SQL, Power BI, or related tools

 
What you’ll do:

• Administer and configure Atlassian tools (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence) including workflows, permissions, and automation.
• Manage Alteryx Server workflows, user roles, and interface enhancements; collaborate on ETL pipeline optimization.
• Create and manage dashboards and reports using Power BI; support data migration and governance.
• Support Power BI workspace access, dataset refreshes, and integration with other tools; assist with report governance and infrastructure updates.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected hourly pay range for this role is $43+ per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
