Interim Controller

INTERIM CONTROLLER (TEMP CONTRACT) – Carlsbad, CA (Hybrid) – $80-$100/hour

Looking for a high-impact interim leadership opportunity? Join a growing manufacturing and consumer products organization that has recently transformed its accounting operations and is seeking a hands-on Controller to provide maternity leave coverage during a critical period.
This is a contract engagement reporting directly to the CFO, offering the opportunity to lead a strong accounting team, oversee a fast-paced close process, and take ownership of accounting operations across both manufacturing and CPG business lines.

Who you are:

• Controller-level accounting professional with strong month-end close experience
• Experience with manufacturing accounting, including cost accounting, standard costing, and production accounting
• Experience with NetSuite
• Hands-on leader who is comfortable rolling up your sleeves and executing alongside the team

What you’ll do:

• Lead and oversee the monthly close process, maintaining a 5-7 day close cycle
• Manage and support accounting operations, including cost accounting, senior accounting, and AR/AP oversight
• Partner with the CFO and take ownership of accounting functions during the Controller's maternity leave coverage

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $80-$100 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
