Internal Controls Leader – Defense Tech Industry – San Diego

What you will need:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related degree. Active CPA.
• 6-10+ years of public accounting (at least Top 10 CPA firm) and/or industry experience. Managerial/supervisory experience preferred. 
• Strong understanding of US GAAP compliance and accounting principles.
• Leadership/management experience leading a small team.
• Excellent communication  and interpersonal skills.

 
What you’ll do:

• Collaborate and lead various internal controls processes across the organization
• Research complex accounting issues and analyze data to address complex questions.
• Design controls and processes to mitigate and manage risks.
• Update audit objectives and risks to assist in audit test plans.
• Perform cross-functional presentations with various levels of senior management and internal controls team.

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
• The expected range for this role is $130,000 to $145,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
