Internal Audit Manager

Audit Manager | $65–$80/hr DOE | 6?Month Contract (Potential to Extend/Convert) | Hybrid (M–Th Onsite, Friday Remote)

Who You Are:

• Experienced audit professional with 8+ years in audit, accounting, finance, compliance, or similar areas
• Background leading audit projects and managing teams, with comfort navigating evolving priorities
• Proficiency with major audit or data tools (e.g., SAP, data analytics platforms, workflow systems)
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and a relevant certification (CPA, CIA, etc.)
• Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals and internal control frameworks

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and oversee audit engagements, ensuring scopes, timelines, and quality standards are met
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders to identify risk areas and support process improvements
• Provide guidance and development support for assigned staff, including performance feedback and workload planning
• Utilize data analytics to enhance audit efficiencies and evaluate key risks
• Prepare audit findings, contribute to department reporting, and coordinate efforts with external auditors
• Identify improvement opportunities and help develop actionable recommendations for leadership
