IS Business Analyst I (San Diego)

What You’ll Do

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and requirements, then translate them into clear, actionable technical deliverables
• Evaluate existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, manual bottlenecks, and automation opportunities
• Support the creation of business and technical documentation, including requirements, process flows, and design docs
• Assist in building, testing, and troubleshooting automation solutions using Python, SQL, and other tools

What You’ll Need

• Working knowledge of Python and SQL — able to write, understand, and troubleshoot scripts/queries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent documentation skills
• Ideally 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with agile/scrum, Jira, Power Automate, Power BI, or Alteryx is a plus

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $36.00 to $36.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
