Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant Consultant | Downtown San Diego

We’re hiring 2 Junior Accountant Consultants to support a time-sensitive accounting review tied to a complex business matter. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys detailed work and wants exposure to real-world ledger reviews and reconciliations.

What You’ll Do:

• Tie out general ledgers to bank statements

• Review intercompany transactions across multiple entities

• Analyze purchases, inventory, and sales activity

• Review financial statements and compare to tax returns

• Support detailed accounting reviews in a structured environment

Who You Are:

• 1–2 years of accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA not required)

• Highly detail-oriented and comfortable with focused, repetitive work

• Interested in building a strong accounting foundation (CPA path a plus)

Details:

• ~8-month contract (through October)

• $26–$33/hour

• Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 remote day/week

• Downtown office with parking provided

• Potential to convert, not guaranteed

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $27.00 to $33.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
