Are you someone who can juggle dozens of maintenance projects, coordinate multiple vendors, and ensure every detail is documented and completed correctly? Our client, a growing residential property management organization, is seeking a highly organized Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee maintenance operations, restoration projects, and vendor management from their Mission Valley office.

This is a primarily office-based role focused on coordinating maintenance through AppFolio, phone, email, and text. You'll play a critical role in keeping properties running smoothly by managing vendors, communicating with tenants and owners, and ensuring maintenance issues are resolved efficiently from start to finish.

Who you are:

  • Strong knowledge of residential maintenance and construction, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, repairs, and building systems
  • Experienced in managing water intrusion, flood damage, restoration projects, mold prevention, and restoration vendors
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high volume of tasks without letting anything fall through the cracks
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working within software platforms; AppFolio experience is a major plus
  • Excellent communicator with strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and a track record of taking ownership through project completion

What you’ll do:

  • Manage maintenance operations through AppFolio, phone, email, and text, ensuring work orders are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate vendors, review invoices, photos, and repair documentation, and oversee maintenance projects from initiation through completion
  • Lead responses to water intrusion, flood, and restoration incidents while coordinating remediation vendors and ensuring proper follow-through
  • Communicate maintenance issues, repair recommendations, and project updates clearly to tenants, property owners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor project progress, and ensure all maintenance activities are completed and documented properly

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $85,000–$110,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
