Materials Manager – Oakville, ON, Canada – $120,000–$140,000 CAD
Are you ready to own materials planning end to end in a fast-paced, mission-driven manufacturing environment? Join an innovative, regulated manufacturing organization where you’ll lead production planning, inventory strategy, and NPI efforts while partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, or supply chain management (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, master data management, and complex datasets.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence cross-functional stakeholders in dynamic, regulated settings.
- Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, diagnostics, or biotechnology.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, or other quality and regulatory standards.
- Advanced ERP/production planning experience, including configuration or process design.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools.
What you’ll do:
- Own materials planning, inventory strategy, and master production scheduling to balance service, cost, and capacity.
- Lead MRP/ERP planning and master data setup for NPI, design transfer, and ongoing production.
- Partner cross-functionally to align demand, supply, and production plans while mitigating risk.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes, KPIs, and team capability.
What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education. Range is $120K-140K CAD.
