Material Manager – Biotech

Manufacturing Materials Manager – San Diego, CA – $100,000–$130,000 per year

Ready to lead ERP-driven materials operations in a highly regulated biotech environment? Our client, an innovative biotech company, is seeking a hands-on leader to drive ERP implementation, inventory strategy, and supply chain excellence in a GMP setting.

Who you are:

• 7+ years of experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
• 4+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
• Proven experience leading ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QAD) in regulated environments
• Strong understanding of GMP materials controls, lot traceability, inventory transactions, and ERP master data
• Experience with validation (CSV), UAT, audits, and quality systems within a QMS

What you’ll do:

• Lead ERP implementation, enhancements, and lifecycle management for materials and supply chain operations
• Own materials-related ERP processes including inventory, warehouse management, planning, and traceability
• Manage inventory control processes including cycle counts, reconciliations, and accuracy metrics
• Drive sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and contract negotiations to optimize cost and reliability
• Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements; support audits, CAPAs, and validation activities

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $100,000–$130,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
