Payroll Specialist – Remote – Contract (Part Time) – San Diego, CA

This progressive, publicly traded biotech company is seeking a part-time payroll professional to support day to day functions for roughly 15 hours per month. Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent years of professional experience required; prior biotech industry experience ideal!
• System savvy with a working knowledge of ADP.
• Full cycle payroll processing experience for 200+ employees in a multi-state fashion.

 
What You’ll Do:

• Support processing payroll for California-based employees.
• Research and resolve complex payroll discrepancies.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed and identify potential areas for process improvement

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
 
The expected range for this role is $45.00 to $59.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
