Property Accountant

Property Accountant | $32–$36/hr DOE | Contract-to-Hire | 100% Onsite

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; property management experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, Rent Manager, or similar systems preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounts receivable/payable
• Post deposits, journal entries, and manage cash-based accounting processes
• Handle tenant and owner transactions, including payments, distributions, and statements
• Assist with month-end close and review financial statements
• Support special projects, acquisitions, and other assigned tasks
