Property Management Coordinator
The role:
The role is primarily office-based and focuses on overseeing a high volume of maintenance activity, coordinating vendors, managing flood/restoration response, reviewing inspections and photos for tenant damage, handling invoicing, and maintaining clear, professional communication with tenants and vendors via AppFolio, text, and email. The client’s summer season (June–August) is particularly intense due to student move-outs and turnovers, and strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
Requirements:
- Strong property management experience
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Hands-on construction and maintenance knowledge (oversight rather than physical labor)
- Experience managing vendors, restoration contractors, and high-volume maintenance workflows
- Comfort reviewing inspections, determining tenant vs. wear-and-tear damage, and understanding California security deposit requirements
The work environment:
- The client is a small, close-knit team with a modern office in Mission Valley and a collaborative, relaxed but high-performance culture.
- This position is onsite with flexibility.
What does this position pay?
- Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $0,000 to $120,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
