QC Technician

QC Technician, 2D/3D optical inspection for aerospace, (temp to hire), Scripps Ranch, CA, 1st shift Mon – Friday, $25-$35/hour

Are you an experienced Quality Control professional with hands-on 2D/3D optical inspection experience? Our client, a growing aerospace manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled QC Technician for a 6-month temp-to-hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to work with advanced inspection technology while supporting high-precision aerospace manufacturing.

Who you are:

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience within aerospace, precision machining, or manufacturing environments
• Hands-on experience operating CMMs, optical comparators, and 2D/3D optical inspection equipment
• Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T requirements
• Proficient with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills

What you’ll do:

• Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections of precision-machined aerospace components
• Operate CMMs, optical comparators, and 2D/3D optical measurement equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and product conformity
• Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with customer and aerospace quality requirements
• Document inspection results, identify nonconformances, and support corrective action activities
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve inspection issues and maintain quality standards

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $25-$35 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
