QC Technician (Electromechanical) – Oakville, Ontario, Canada – $50,000–$68,000 CAD
Are you excited about building quality systems that directly impact patient care? Join an innovative biotech organization where you’ll help establish and scale Quality Control processes for reagents and consumables as the company moves from prototype through clinical and commercial manufacturing.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5+ years of experience in Quality within a cGMP environment
- Hands-on experience supporting QC/QA for injection molding processes is a MUST
- Hands on experience with NPI.
- Background working with reagents, consumables, or IVD-related manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
What you’ll do:
- Execute QC activities including incoming, in-process, and final inspections, batch record review, and product release
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Development teams to define inspection methods, acceptance criteria, and quality controls—particularly for injection-molded components
- Lead and support investigations including OOS, quality incidents, and CAPAs related to manufacturing processes and products
- Establish and improve QC processes, work instructions, supplier quality activities, and Materials Review Board operations

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $50,000–$68,000 per year CAD. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
