Sales Development Representative  -East Coast territory

This is a role for someone living on the East Coast and supporting the sales territory in the Eastern part of USA.  Startup culture, flexible hours, and a highly supportive team: this rapidly growing In Vitro Diagnostic company is looking for someone with a go-getter attitude who can bring strong Sales knowledge experience to the table and will be responsible for securing leads, identifying and qualifying sales opportunities and passing them to Regional Sales Managers. Ample opportunity for growth and skill development.

What you’ll do:

  • Utilize target lists to prospect for new sales opportunities.
  • Contact prospective customers by phone, email, and/or social media at target accounts. Prospective customer contacts may include physicians, hospitals, and clinical laboratories.
  • Schedule and lead meetings to explore customer needs. 
  • Record results of outreach, contacts and calls in customer relationship database and provide summaries to manager or designees as requested.
  • Follow up on inbound leads from inbound inquiries and marketing programs in a timely manner.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business. 
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Knowledge of sales process for tangible products, which includes experience with cold calling.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in business, sales or marketing or equivalent internship experience. Experience in the sales of diagnostic tests and medical devices is strongly desired.
  • Familiarity of the in-vitro diagnostics and medical device industry is strongly desired.
  • Up to 75% travel within sales region

 What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $62,000 to $75,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
