Senior Accountant:

Our accounting team supports a range of entities and individuals, ensuring accurate financial statements, seamless transaction processing, and a positive, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Financial Reporting & Month-End Close (Approx. 40%)

  • Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and verify the proper classification of transactions.
  • Accounts Payable & Payment Process (Approx. 30%)

  • Manage invoices using an automated invoice/payment platform, reviewing for proper coding and approvals.
  • Coordinate payment runs, including checks and wire transfers, while maintaining compliance with internal controls.
  • Intercompany & Fixed Assets (Approx. 20%)

  • Handle intercompany billings, allocations (e.g., payroll, rent, G&A), and ensure balances are reconciled.
  • Update and maintain fixed asset schedules, accurately accounting for additions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Projects & Process Improvements (Approx. 10%)

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline existing processes, address new investments or entity needs, and refine reporting schedules.
  • Contribute ideas on how to optimize workflows and enhance reporting capabilities, with support from the Controller and senior leadership.

    Who You Are:

    • Experience & Education:
    • At least 3+ years of accounting experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
  • Team Player: Approachable, positive, and ready to support colleagues in a close-knit setting. Strong communication skills are key, as you’ll interact with various departments and external contacts.
  • Detail-Oriented & Driven: You take pride in delivering accurate work and are open to feedback. You’re motivated to improve processes, maintain thorough documentation, and meet tight deadlines.

    What Does This Position Pay?
    Compensation is determined by several factors, including skillset, experience, and location. The expected salary range for this role is $80,000 – $100,000, plus a 10% short-term incentive and a 20% long-term incentive. Actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
