Senior Accountant

Staff Accountant | $36-40/hr | Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid – Plano, TX

This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting commission processing, and assisting with reporting and analysis. Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business with a strong accounting foundation
• Experience supporting accounting operations in an industry or corporate environment
• Comfortable handling transactional accounting work, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Self?sufficient, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with cross?functional teams

What You’ll Do:

• Support daily accounting activities including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Assist with commission processing, reconciliation, and resolving discrepancies
• Review incoming financial data for accuracy and historical consistency
• Prepare internal financial reports and support monthly close activities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting updates, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation as systems and workflows evolve
