Senior Analyst, Clinical Finance

Clinical Finance Senior Analyst | $48-55/hr | Temp | Onsite, Pasadena, CA
Our client is looking for a Clinical Finance Senior Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, and operational oversight related to external partnerships and project-based initiatives. You will help ensure financial accuracy, contract compliance, and effective collaboration between internal teams and outside vendors. Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of experience supporting budgets, contracts, financial analysis, or related operational finance functions
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and produce meaningful reporting
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communicator who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Experience within a regulated industry environment is a plus

What You'll Do:

• Review and evaluate budgets, contracts, amendments, and supporting financial documentation
• Perform benchmarking and cost analyses to support pricing, budgeting, and financial decision-making
• Monitor payments and financial commitments to ensure alignment with approved agreements
• Maintain accurate records and documentation across multiple projects and stakeholders
• Reconcile vendor and project-related expenditures, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed
• Partner with internal teams and external organizations to provide financial guidance and process support
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and financial controls
• Assist with special projects and additional financial analysis as needed
