Senior Buyer – Ontario, Canada – $90,000–$110,000 CAD
Are you a seasoned supply chain professional who enjoys building structure in fast-growing environments? This is an opportunity to join an innovative, mission-driven biomedical manufacturing organization where you’ll help scale procurement, support NPI, and influence how products move from pilot to commercialization.

Who you are:

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or production planning within medical devices, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or electro-mechanical manufacturing
  • Proven, hands-on NPI experience, including exposure to design transfer, prototype planning, and supplier qualification in a regulated environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (MISys or similar), inventory management principles, and quality systems such as GMP or ISO 13485
  • Analytical, improvement-minded professional with Lean or Six Sigma exposure, leadership potential, and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

What you’ll do:

  • Own purchasing, planning, and inventory strategy for assigned commodities, ensuring material readiness from prototype builds through production
  • Lead and support NPI, design transfer, RFQs, supplier qualification, and EOL/LTB strategies to reduce risk and protect supply continuity
  • Develop, track, and improve procurement KPIs including on-time delivery, PPV, cost savings, and supplier scorecards while strengthening processes and tools
  • Hold suppliers accountable on cost, quality, delivery, and lead times, partnering closely with engineering, quality, planning, and manufacturing

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $90,000–$110,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
