Senior Data Engineer – Tempe, AZ – $140,000

Are you a hands-on data engineer who enjoys building scalable data products and collaborating closely with product teams? Who you are:

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working on large-scale, production data pipelines
• Advanced skills in Python, SQL, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks, including performance tuning
• Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms, ideally Databricks and Azure
• Background working closely with product, analytics, or data product teams on end-to-end solutions

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines supporting core data products
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Python, SQL, PySpark, and orchestration tools
• Partner closely with product and data engineering teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions
• Improve data models, pipeline reliability, and overall platform performance in a regulated data environment

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $130,000 – $140,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
