Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst | $50–60/hr | Hybrid in Monrovia, CA |  Contract-to-Hire

A rapidly growing biotech company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong cost accounting expertise to join their finance team! This role will be instrumental in budgeting, forecasting, equity compensation accounting, and supporting SEC reporting requirements. If you have biotech or life sciences experience and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred

• 3–5+ years of cost accounting experience in biotech or life sciences

• Proven experience with equity compensation accounting (RSUs, stock options)

• Proficient in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills

What You’ll Do:

• Lead cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation, standard cost roll-ups, variance analysis, and COGS reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis for senior management

• Support SEC reporting and audits in compliance with SOX, ASC 718, and ASC 740

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $50 to $60 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
