Senior Hardware Systems Engineer – Power & Performance
sunnyvale, California
Are you the type of engineer who loves solving problems that live where hardware, firmware, and software collide? This is a rare opportunity to join a world-class engineering team building next-generation consumer electronics and connected devices — where you’ll work hands-on with advanced platforms, bring products to life, and solve complex power and performance challenges that directly impact the user experience..
Who you are:
- You bring 7+ years of embedded systems experience with a strong foundation across electrical engineering, firmware, system software, and hands-on lab debugging.
- You’re comfortable working deep in the system — reading schematics, analyzing power rails, using oscilloscopes and power analyzers, and connecting real measurements back to system behavior.
- You have experience with embedded firmware, MCU/SoC platforms, bootloaders, low-level drivers, and understand how Linux or Android systems impact performance and power.
- You’re a natural problem solver who can build test strategies, investigate complex issues, work through ambiguity, and drive technical solutions from discovery to resolution.
What you’ll do:
- You’ll be at the center of product innovation — helping optimize power and performance for advanced connected devices from early prototypes through real-world operation.
- You’ll lead hands-on power characterization, debugging, and system analysis using cutting-edge lab equipment and measurement tools.
- You’ll connect the dots between hardware behavior, firmware, software activity, and thermal performance to uncover root causes and improve product performance.
- You’ll collaborate with talented hardware, firmware, and system engineering teams to influence architecture decisions and help create products that push technology forward.
Why work here:
- Join a global engineering team where innovation, collaboration, and curiosity drive everything we do.
- You’ll work alongside passionate engineers developing advanced connected products while having access to the tools, labs, and resources needed to solve exciting technical challenges.
- We believe great technology starts with great people — offering comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) matching, generous PTO, paid parental leave, employee support programs, and a culture that values creativity, growth, and work-life balance
