Senior Systems Engineer – IT Infrastructure Services
Location: Hybrid/Remote (U.S.)

Proven Recruiting has partnered with a leading entertainment company to find a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team on a contract basis.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain the uptime, performance, and capacity of production servers and services, including architectural design, performance analysis, and capacity planning
• Own ticket and alert triage, monitoring, and troubleshooting across the production environment
• Manage configuration, patching, migrations, and upgrades using tools like Ansible
• Build automation and scripting solutions to support system reliability, and participate in an on-call rotation

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 5 years of UNIX/Linux administration experience 
• Scripting ability in Python or BASH
• Significant experience with Ansible-based configuration management
• Experience with monitoring/metrics tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or SysStat
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (OpenShift KubeVirt, KVM, Nutanix, or VMware)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field a plus, not required

Compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to the specific role, the candidate’s experience, education, and skills, as well as geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range will be provided during the interview process.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $79.00 to $84.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
