Sr. Accountant – Revenue

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; preferably coming from public accounting 
• CPA is highly beneficial 
• Must have experience in revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) 
• Working experience with ERPs like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc. 
• Strong analytical thinking to identify issues and find solutions
• Proficiency in using advanced Excel functions

What you’ll do:

• Play a key role in the revenue recognition evaluation and accounting treatment of contracts
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of revenue recognition processes, policies, and contract terms for audit and reporting purposes.
• Own accounting areas such as pivotal balance sheet accounts relating to revenue
• Prepare and process revenue-related journal entries and monthly adjustments to reflect accurate financial reporting
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in revenue recognition workflows and implement best practices

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
• The expected range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
