Sr. Mechanical Engineer – Houston, TX

This pioneer company in Medical Device is looking to support and promote a talented Mechanical Engineer who will contribute to prototype design and development processes. The ideal professional will have experience with prototype design using SolidWorks for Implantable Medical Devices as well as eagerness to join and contribute to a tight knit, mutually supportive community of skilled experts.

What you’ll do

• Responsible for prototype design and development process
• Perform mechanical and electrical integration of guidewires
• Identify and coordinate with external vendors  
• Adhere to testing requirements for medical devices.

Who you are

• Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related technical discipline and 2 years of relevant medical device industry experience. BS with equivalent experience ok.
• Experience with prototype design within the medical device industry is required, endovascular experience is preferred.   
• Must have experience with SolidWorks

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
