Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Opportunity at a growing SF Firm!

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales tax preparation and filing
• Experience and strong understanding of California sales tax laws as well as with multistate sales tax compliance
• Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returns for multiple states. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Assist with financial reporting, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Support accounting department with general ledger maintenance and month-end close activities

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, qualifications/certifications, experience level, and geographic location
• The expected range for this role is $75K-95K, annualized base compensation. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience
