Staff Accountant – Payroll/AP/Fixed Assets

What you’ll do:
Payroll (75%)
- Assist in processing multi-state, semi-monthly payroll in coordination with HR and finance
- Help implement payroll systems and assist with account setup for tax jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and reporting requirements
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare related journal entries
- Support year-end filings, including W-2s and reconciliation processes
Accounts Payable (15%)
- Serve as backup for invoice processing, vendor setup, payment runs, and 1099 reporting
- Assist with AP close and vendor inquiries
- Maintain internal documentation and support cross-functional collaboration
Fixed Assets & Property Accounting (15%)
- Track and classify capital assets
- Maintain fixed asset subledger and run monthly depreciation
- Assist with annual filings and coordinate internal asset audits
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2-5 years of experience in payroll, AP, or GL Accounting
- Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Strong Excel skills; experience with modern ERP or payroll systems a plus (Workday, NetSuite, OSV, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working fully onsite in Fort Worth, TX

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $65,000 – $85,000 base salary. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience. #LI-JP1
