Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will work closely with accounting and finance leadership to support fund and corporate accounting operations, cash management, and reporting. What you’ll do:
- Monitor daily cash activity and prepare wire transactions.
- Assist with capital calls and cash funding processes.
- Perform fund accounting and corporate accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Partner with offshore services team in India on special projects and ongoing initiatives.
- Support accounting and finance leadership with reporting, analyses, and process improvements.
- Maintain and analyze financial data within Sage Intacct.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to scaling accounting operations as the firm grows.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA (exams passed required).
- 1.5–2 years of Big 4 audit experience.
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and fund and/or corporate accounting.
- Experience with Sage Intacct preferred.
- Intellectually curious, self-motivated, proactive, and pleasant to work with; strong communicator and team player.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000 per year, with flexibility based on experience. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
