Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer (PCIe / CXL) – San Diego, CA (Onsite) – $150,000–$160,000 per year
Are you an embedded software engineer who wants to help build next-generation server technology from the ground up? This is an opportunity to join a leading semiconductor and platform technology organization expanding its footprint in the data center and server space. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team with direct influence on future chipset architecture.
Who you are:

• 7+ years of embedded software experience with deep expertise in C
• Strong background developing low-level firmware, drivers, or systems software
• Experience working close to hardware in Linux or RTOS environments
• Work authorization: Sponsorship is available for this role

What you’ll do:

• Develop low-level firmware and drivers in C for PCIe and emerging CXL technologies
• Collaborate closely with hardware and architecture teams on system design decisions
• Optimize software for performance, power, and reliability in server platforms
• Support bring-up of new data center and server systems

What does this position pay? Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $150,000–$160,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
