(Sr.) Study Director, In Vivo Surgery (Medical Device)

What you will do:
- Responsible for study execution and compliance as well as protocol development, design and reporting of exploratory GLP and non-GLP studies.
- Oversee surgical studies including pre, intra, and post-operative monitoring and evaluations and supportive imaging.
- Write and revise SOPs, provide support for IACUC activities, and assure facility compliance related to animal care and use.
- Engage with clients, understand their requirements, provide expert advice, and offer tailored solutions.
Who you are:
- Graduate degree in a scientific discipline with education in veterinary medicine or lab animal research
- 5-8 years experience as a study director with a background in lab animal (in vivo) research conducting surgical procedures for medical device research is required.
- Must have experience handling large animals (pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, etc)
- Experience working in a GLP laboratory.
What does this position pay?
- Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $100,000 to $140,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
