What you’ll do:

  • Own sales and use tax compliance for a multi-state footprint, from preparation through filing.
  • Mentor and review the work of a Tax Associate while staying hands on yourself.
  • Serve as the point person for sales and use tax audits and state correspondence.
  • Guide taxability decisions and keep customer exemption documentation current.
  • Manage property tax and business licensing obligations.
  • Evaluate outsourced work and lead the effort to bring key processes in house.

Who you are:

  • Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or similar.

  • Industry background required; a mix of public accounting and industry is welcome.
  • Comfortable working across many state jurisdictions.
  • Tax software experience required.
  • Hungry, humble, and happy to jump in wherever the team needs help.

Why work here?
