Tax Senior – Professional Services – North County San Diego
Are you a detail-oriented, solutions-driven tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced public accounting and advisory environment? In this role, you’ll prepare and review complex returns, support tax planning initiatives, mentor junior staff, and serve as a technical resource across entity, corporate, and international tax matters. Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degree and CPA preferred
- 3+ years of experience preparing complex tax returns in public accounting
- Strong tax background across corporations, entities, and (preferred) international clients
- Proficient in tax software, accounting systems, and Excel; comfort researching complex tax topics
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps, LLCs, and high-net-worth individuals
- Conduct basis analysis and support entity-level planning
- Support domestic and international tax planning, including research on cross-border structures and compliance
- Mentor junior accountants, review their work, and serve as a technical resource

What does this position pay?
- Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, qualifications/certifications, experience level, and geographic location
- The expected range for this role is $90,000-$110,000, annualized base compensation. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications, physical location and experience
