Veterinary Technician, Biotech Research, Carlsbad, CA, $24–$26 per hour

Who you are:

• Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification preferred.
• 2+ years of industry or veterinary experience.
• Skilled in anesthesia administration, IV catheter placement, and SubQ/IM injections.
• Comfortable supporting in vivo models for therapeutic and device screening.

What you’ll do:

• Perform physical exams, assess vital signs, and monitor general health across multiple species.
• Provide routine veterinary care, including dental cleanings, for colony animals.
• Administer anesthesia, monitor anesthetic parameters, and safely recover multiple species.
• Collect biological specimens and samples for colony health surveillance.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $24–$26 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
