We’re partnered with a rapidly scaling, mission-driven technology company and they’re looking to bring on a strategic Director of Accounting to lead and evolve their accounting operations.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger integrity, account reconciliations, and internal controls
- Manage and mentor a growing team of accountants and finance professionals
- Own compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements, including liaising with external auditors
- Drive process improvements and systems implementations (ERP upgrades, automation, controls)
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and Operations to support company-wide financial initiatives
- Assist in technical accounting research, developing policies, and ensuring adherence to new standards
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 9+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ in a leadership capacity
- Strong US GAAP knowledge and hands-on experience with technical accounting
- Experience in high-growth tech or defense/aerospace industries strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Proven leadership skills—able to build and guide high-performing teams
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $190,000 to $210,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
