We’re partnered with a rapidly scaling, mission-driven technology company and they’re looking to bring on a strategic Director of Accounting to lead and evolve their accounting operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee general ledger integrity, account reconciliations, and internal controls
  • Manage and mentor a growing team of accountants and finance professionals
  • Own compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements, including liaising with external auditors
  • Drive process improvements and systems implementations (ERP upgrades, automation, controls)
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and Operations to support company-wide financial initiatives
  • Assist in technical accounting research, developing policies, and ensuring adherence to new standards

     

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
  • 9+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ in a leadership capacity
  • Strong US GAAP knowledge and hands-on experience with technical accounting
  • Experience in high-growth tech or defense/aerospace industries strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Proven leadership skills—able to build and guide high-performing teams
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)

What does this position pay?

  • Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

  • The expected range for this role is $190,000 to $210,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
