Financial Analyst – Commercial Finance
Location: Remote in San Diego (local to SD or SoCal)
Would you like to join a high-growth consumer brand backed by a top-tier private equity firm? This company has seen explosive growth—20% YoY—with major shelf presence in Costco, Walmart, and other top retailers. You’ll join a lean, high-caliber finance team supporting trade strategy, brand marketing, and AOP planning, all in a lifestyle-driven, non-corporate culture.
What you will need:

1–3 years of finance experience (CPG preferred)
-
Strong analytical mindset; comfortable working across P&L, debits/credits, and financial statements
-
San Diego-based (remote) or open to relocation to Utah
What you’ll do:
-
Analyze sales performance, trade spend, and promotional effectiveness
-
Support brand marketing finance: ad spend reporting, ROI analysis, and campaign planning

Own budgeting and forecasting processes for new product launches

Assist in building the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and scenario modeling

Partner cross-functionally with brand managers, sales, and marketing on revenue-driving initiatives

Leverage tools like Power BI, BluePlanner, NetSuite, and Vena for reporting and analysis

What does this position pay?

Base salary: $70,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience)

Bonus: 10% target bonus
