Lead ERP Systems Analyst – San Diego, CA

Our client, one of the nation’s largest providers of design services, equipment, and supplies for the foodservice industry, is seeking an ERP Systems Analyst to lead enterprise system initiatives supporting sales, distribution, and reporting. In this key role, you’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into solutions, managing projects from design and testing to user training. Who you are:

• 5+ years of experience supporting and analyzing ERP systems and business applications.
• Experience with Infor SX.e, Total Warehouse Logistics (TWL), Progress OpenEdge, Hyperion/Oracle BI, SQL, and Power BI preferred
• Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X12/EDIFACT), particularly 810 documents
• Background in distribution or supply chain environments (purchasing, warehouse, transportation) strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience

What you’ll do:

• Act as the primary IT contact for ERP needs, partnering with business teams to gather requirements, identify solutions, and manage support or enhancement request.
• Oversee ERP system development, maintenance, and integration efforts, including EDI, reporting, and third-party application support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues, deliver new functionality, and ensure smooth system operations
• Design and analyze reports, queries, and data mappings to support business decisions and application improvements
• Develop documentation, provide user training, and support ERP testing, release planning, and roadmap development
