Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector (FAI) – 12 month contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented First Article Inspector to join our quality assurance team. This role is responsible for performing First Article Inspections (FAI) to ensure that initial production parts meet all required specifications, engineering drawings, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of precision measurement tools, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and AS9102 reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) to ensure parts meet specifications and standards.
• Utilize precision measurement tools to inspect parts and document findings.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to address discrepancies and drive improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments, with CMM experience being a plus.

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $47.00 to $55.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
