Staff Accountant

We’re working with a fast-growing company in North County that’s looking to bring on a proactive Staff Accountant to support their expanding finance team.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Help manage inventory accounting and cost of goods sold tracking
• Support with sales tax filings and ensure compliance with multi-state regulations
• Assist with financial statement preparation and various ad hoc reporting requests
• Work cross-functionally with operations and supply chain to support business insights

   

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general ledger structure
• Comfortable with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.); ERP experience is preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of juggling multiple priorities
• Curious and eager to learn—ready to grow in a fast-paced, evolving company

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
• The expected range for this role is $70,000 to $8 0,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
